Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your files are opened and processed by code running in this browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server — you can confirm it in your browser’s Network panel, or by turning off Wi-Fi after the page loads.
Is this a legally binding electronic signature?
In many countries, including under the U.S. ESIGN Act, an electronic signature you apply yourself can be legally valid. This tool adds a visual signature; it does not add a certificate-based digital signature. For high-stakes documents, check what the recipient requires.
